CESIPAL Free fall simulator Both for experienced or inexperienced parachutists, as well as absolute beginners, the free fall simulator and the vertical wind tunnel is an ideal way to practice either individual or 4-way formation skydiving.
Our wind tunnel enables the user to experience the free fall in the same conditions as if they were really jumping out of an aircraft, so that they can learn and master real life manoeuvres and movements under supervision. The parachutists can progress under supervision in our tunnel, in which the instructor works with them in real time, improving the training with on the spot corrections whenever possible, and working in a stress free environment, so that the learning process is top class. The free fall simulator can be observed on all sides so that other parachutists can analyse the manoeuvres being practised, there is also a locker area for equipment, classrooms, waiting room, toilets and changing rooms.
The whole centre has been designed to be the ideal place for parachutists so that they can make the most of their training time. • Skyventure® flight chamber 4.26m. Diameter and 7.0m. in height, with a continual air flow from one side to another. • The flight chamber can hold up to 4 users at the same time. • Up to 250km/h. air speed • Illuminated flight chamber so that sessions can be recorded on DVD.
Open parachute simulator The virtual reality simulator recreates the parachute descents, level or round, right from the jump spot out of the plane to landing, as well as emergency situations; with safety, resources and reasonable prices, eliminating any time lost waiting around, and risks involved in real training. Our open canopy simulator is a virtual reality simulator used to train for any type of atmospheric and landing condition that the parachutist might encounter. • Fighter pilot ejection emergency procedure training both manual and automatic assisted parachute pack up. • Training to recognise and correct badly packed parachutes in real time and in stressful situations. • Real life instruction drills on how to use parachutes with sensors that produce a real feeling of force that is a completely safe and a training procedure on parachute opening malfunctions. . • Visors, oxygen masks and communication devices are used. The system includes an integrated altimeter navigation system, night time goggles, etc. • Correct 4-line parachute opening training procedure. • Control drills and parachute guides, drills to prevent collisions when flying and safe landing procedures. • Choose among a wide range of missions and work environments, even the possibility of creating real missions. The following PARASIM modules are available: • Basic jump skills. • Software adapted to create mal function situations such as erroneous parachute opening, parachutes not opening, etc. • Dynamic software used to observe the parachutist’s head movement and vision. • Mission creation, even real-life mission capacity. • Mission training module for groups of up to 9 parachutists. • Virtual reality simulator based on the PARASIM system. • System that generates jump, altitude, daytime/night time, cloudy, wind direction and intensity conditions and other navigation factors. • Mission and different settings manager (open areas, fields, woods, islands, cities, etc.). • Mechanized frame with parachute harness to create a more realistic feeling. • 10 jump positions to practice group formation jumps. • Virtual reality goggles and head tracker with built in video. • Movement (controls and bands), rings (main and backup parachutes) and main parachute release sensors.
Automatic opening mode simulator CESIPAL´s facilities also include two automatic opening training simulators for parachutists that recreate conditions when jumping out of the plane, the descent and landing. Plane jump simulator So that training can start right from when the parachutists jumps out of the plane from different doors, when they experience the sudden jerk of the parachute opening. The simulator is a 12 meters high metal tower. At the top, there is a aircraft fuselage cabin like those used by the armed forces for transport and parachutist launches, it has two side doors and front ramp that simulates the rear ramp of an aircraft. There are six lines come down from the tower, which each skydiver is attached to with their harness, they descend towards the tower bridge, to touch down. It can simulate what would happen in a real life situation, if there were problems with opening the main parachute, the back up parachutes.
Parachute descent simulator There is a control device to regulate to speed of the descent, the wind intensity and position in regards to the wind direction, what landing position should be adopted on touch down and what to do if there is a possibility of being dragged. This simulator is 25m high, up to 4 users can hang from it, and it has a vertical and horizontal velocity chosen by the instructor who sets up a specific descent profile to make the freefall and landing training process completely safe for the users. It also simulates the wind pull from 0 to 14.8km/h.
Top class instructors CESIPAL´s team of instructors will give you top class training and coaching that suits your own experience. There are currently 14 CESIPAL instructors assigned to the different levels in our wind tunnel, who adapt to all your needs. Our instructors will give you top class professional training and coaching. Experience proves that the best skydivers are not always the best teachers; you really need to know how to convey what you know and this doesn’t come easy to all skydivers, our professionals come from the Alcantarilla Parachute Military School and have been trained to teach you everything you need to know. What is more, their high level of expertise training and qualifications are internationally recognised by the IBA (International Bodyflight Association) which means they can ensure your safety in our tunnel, and show you everything you need to know, something that is only guaranteed by the SkyVenture® group of professionals. All you have to do is put your trust in them, go with the flow and then something that has always seemed so hard will become easy, we guarantee you will have fun.
