LOGBOOK - 80 minutes of belly flying at SkyVenture Orlando with Rusty Lewis as a coach in September 2003 - 45 minutes of belly flying at SkyVenture Orlando with no coach in November 2005 - 45 minutes of back and sit flying at SkyVenture Orlando with Scott Graham, Tony, Rick, Randy and Paige as coaches in November 2005 - 25 minutes of back and sit flying (mostly back flying because my arms were dead) at SkyVenture Perris with coaching from Steven in June 2006 - 30 minutes of belly flying at AAC in North Carolina with coaching from John Suiter. Flew with John and Dawn Suiter and Jake in July 2006. - 5 minutes of belly flying at Flyaway Pigeon Forge in Tennessee. The tunnel temp was about 110 and the air column was 130-140 degrees, so 5 minutes was about all I could stand in July 2006. - 30 minutes of sit, belly and back flying at AAC with coaching from John Suiter. Attempted rodeo flying with Dawn. Dawn was on top and I was on the bottom in Labor Day 2006. Not enough lift! - 25 minutes of sit, belly and back flying at AAC with coaching from John Suiter. Learned some trasitions and carving too! Attempted more rodeo with Dawn. This time, Dawn was on the bottom and I was on the top. It was highly successful and we flew it well in Mid-September 2006. We have great photos. - 7.5 minutes of belly and back flying to re-adjust to SVO (coaching)in mid October 2006. - 15 minutes of back and sit fly coaching with Paige. Starting to understand using my legs for turns in the back fly. Taking back fly docks. Actually flew my sit, stable and in place for a good while. Started to work on really slow leg turns on my sit in mid October 2006. - 3.5 minutes of lingerine flight. I did NOT have much on. I had the boob out malfunction more than once. Flying in a tunnel mostly naked is kinda fun. It feels great to just fly skin and NO fabric. Kiss pass with Paige back flying and me belly flying.....yeah, the guys thought it was hot in mid October 2006! - 25 minutes of Tunnel For The Cause Time. Back, Sit and Belly Flying. The arms of my new suit are draggy. Flew some cool sit flying with Paige and took docks with her in a backfly. I got my IBA Progression updated in mid October 2006. - 1 hour 15 minutes at AAC. Did a tiny bit of back and sit flying. Did a lot of group flying, which was tons of fun. 6-ways! Worked some two way with Paige and Jake. Learned to fly in a little bit faster air (pull sleeves up to elbows to reduce arm drag). Work on belly carving and T flying. - 30 minutes at AAC. Worked some more on T flying and FINALLY started to get the mechanics of back/butt flying. Yipee! November 2006. - 45 minutes at AAC. Worked on some more T-flying, sit flying, back flying and transitions. Also worked on front flips from belly to belly. December 2006 - 40 minutes at AAC. Worked a little bit on T-flying. Work some more on back flying and turning in a back fly. Worked more on belly carving. Attempted to fly at Lexi speeds (sub 100 MPH). - 45 minutes at SkyVenture New Hampshire - New tunnel for me....recirculator. Worked on back flying and got to do 4 way back flying with Jake, Dawn, and John. Worked on sit flying some too.....got enough speed to actually be able to steer. - 80 minutes at SkyVenture Orlando in Feb 2007. Worked on more control in the back fly. Also worked on making back to sit transitions without losing or gaining too much altitude, and worked on keep them in one place in the tunnel. Worked on and got sit to sit front flips. Tried a sit to sit cartwheel, but it wasn't pretty and that's definitely gonna leave a mark. Worked on stand flying, split flying and knee flying. Also worked on over unders in a sit. Worked on stand flying as well. Worked a lot with Paige. Briefly worked on sit docking too. Fun stuff!!! - 75 minutes at SkyVenture Orlando in October of 2007 for TUNNEL FOR THE CAUSE. Since the air straightener was broken, flying was a little more challenging than usual. But, I worked on sit flying, taking sit fly docks, and back carving with my head very far back and in the middle of the grate. During tunnel for the cause, we fit 8 people in the tunnel, we wall walked and I did some belly flying with the chicas. I also did some back fly RW. What an awesome time!!! - 75 minutes at Paraclete XP Nov 30 - Dec 1, 2007. Lisa kidnapped 7 of us and took us to the new monster tunnel for some flying fun. I worked with Mick on sit flying, sit fly docking, sit to sit front flips, belly to back layouts, in face and out face carving, and barrel rolls. I achieved things that I thought were dozens of hours away for me. I did my first four way sit fly! - 1 hour and 40 minutes at Paraclete XP Dec 15-17, 2007. I worked with Mick on in face carving, out face carving, belly and back layouts, back flips, belly to back and back to belly transitions and supported head down. Jake and I did some rodeo, I did a 3-way in face carve, we did some 9-way RW and some 6 way freeflying. It was awesome! - 1 hour at Paraclete XP Jan 17-19, 2008. I worked with Mick and Plamer on Supported HD. I worked with Mick on in face carving and sit flying at HD speeds. What a great birthday weekend. - 30 minutes at Paraclete XP Feb 3, 2008. I was raised in Northern Virginia, but currently live in relatively rural Central Virginia about 30 minutes from the Skydive Orange (the naked people). I live with my husband and our two kitties, Julius and Moe. I studied Biotechnology and Information Technology/Computer Science at James Madison University. I currently work as a lab technician, water treatment and purification research, at a water technology company. As far as skydiving goes, I have almost 100 jumps. I took a 3 year layoff because I got sucked into working manifest almost every weekend (it sucked and I don't recommend it). I started jumping in 1999 and quit jumping in 2006. I have a B license and no ratings of any sort. Outside of skydiving, Jake and I love to ride motorcycles and play poker. We play on a co-ed softball team as well. During the summer, I love to go tubing and canoeing. During the winter, I love to go snowboarding.
