Comments:
The complex & wind tunnel is immaculate, it feels brand new. The instructor I had spoke English, which made things easier for me. The reason I went was the fact I encountered a problem with my R.A.P.S.
At 15 seconds delay, I was spinning out of control, I'm sure you'll agree, it's not a pleasent experiance at all. I went with 5 sessions booked. I got there and waited about 30 mins until the
instructor was ready to brief me. Myself and several others then went through to get changed into jumpsuits, helmets, gloves & ear plugs. We were led in & I have never experienced anything like it, ever.
In the outer chamber if you failed to hold on to the safety rails, you would end up on your butt.
The inner chamber was not so windy just very very loud, with seating around the inner circle, which is surrounded by netting as well as top and bottom. A list of names is written on the wall and when its your turn you are gestured to enter the tunnel through the netting. The first three times were not, to say the least very succcesful for me. I had very little stability and bounced around like a madman out of control. My next two atempts however were much more succesfull. I was still not happy with my competance and as I had travelled all the way from the U.K., I decided to hell with the cost and booked another 3 sessions for later that evening. I returned later having thought about my position and by the time I finished my 8th session I was pleased with myself. I was stable in the middle of the tunnel & even managed a couple of turns. The proof of the pudding will be next week when I jump. Wish me luck........... :-)
Plan to return: yes Going to fly elsewhere too?: yes Scott Emsley
